| Wind River 'Tornado Certifies'
TeamF1's SSHield Embedded Network Security Product |

TeamF1, Inc. a leading developer of
software product suites
for embedded networking and security announced today that
Wind River Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: WIND) has certified
SSHield for the market-leading VxWorks® real-time operating
system (RTOS). The WindLink™ certification extends TeamF1´s
reach into markets that Wind River serves with its VxWorks
real-time operating system (RTOS) and strengthens TeamF1´s
partnership with the leading platform provider in the
embedded industry. TeamF1’s SSHield has been certified on
Wind River’s Tornadoâ integrated development environment
(IDE) / VxWorks RTOS as it passed all the compatibility
requirements for seamless integration with the VxWorks RTOS,
and can be configured directly through the Tornado® IDE.
SSHield is a robust, open-standards based, small-footprint
implementation of Secure Shell for Wind River’s VxWorks and
VxWorks AE operating systems. SSHield integrates the core
server and client components needed to implement a secure
communications channel over insecure networks. Its unique,
advanced features include a suite of secure applications
such as secure copy (scp), secure FTP (sftp and sftpd), a
built-in version of cryptography modules and application
programming interfaces (APIs) for hardware acceleration of
the cryptography modules.
