Alliance with Wind River to Deliver Advanced Security

FREMONT,
Calif., Oct. 1, 2003 – TeamF1, Inc.
the leader in high performance and
low-resource embedded security solutions, today announced a
multi-year alliance with Wind River Systems (NASDAQ: WIND)
to advance the mutual goal of providing secure networking
technologies to customers. This strategic technology and
marketing agreement combines TeamF1's expertise in embedded
security with Wind River's worldwide market leadership in
embedded software and services.
Under the alliance agreement, the two companies have worked
to jointly develop and market advanced security technologies
including IPsec and IKE support for IPv4/IPv6 in Wind
River's market and customer specific platforms. On VxWorks-based
platforms that do not include IPsec, and on stand-alone
versions of VxWorks, TeamF1 now offers the next generation
of the WIND® NET IPsec in the form of its V-IPSecure for
VxWorks product. V-IPSecure is tightly integrated with the
native IPv4 stack provided with Wind River's operating
systems. Additionally, Wind River has transitioned support
for existing users of WIND NET IPsec and IKE 1.0 to TeamF1.
TeamF1 also becomes the preferred security provider for the
VxWorks platforms and expands the reach of its security
portfolio to new Wind River products. As part of the broader
cooperation, TeamF1 has enhanced its SSLimSecure SSL product
to serve as an effective replacement for Wind River's WIND®
NET SSL. TeamF1 is also certifying its market-leading
AuthAgent Kerberos and SSHield SECSH products for use with
Wind River's Market Specific Platforms.

companies are in discussions to extend the agreement to
encompass additional technologies, making it easier for
joint customers to secure their embedded devices using
leading edge protocols.
Availability
All of TeamF1's security products including
V-IPSecure
(IPsec and IKE),
SSLimSecure
(SSL),
SSHield
(SECSH) and
AuthAgent Kerberos are
immediately available for Wind River's platforms and can be
licensed directly from TeamF1 under flexible licensing
terms, including royalty-free full-source distributions. For
