Partner for Network Security
TeamF1's AuthAgent Family of Products Integrated with INTEGRITY
SANTA BARBARA and FREMONT, CA - November
10, 2008 - Green Hills Software, Inc., the technology
leader in device software optimization (DSO) and real-time
operating systems (RTOS), and TeamF1, Inc., the preeminent
supplier of OEM-ready secure connectivity solutions for
embedded systems, today announced that TeamF1's AuthAgent
family of authentication protocol products is fully
integrated and now available for use with Green Hills
Software's
INTEGRITY® real-time operating system. This
integration provides developers with secure authentication
options that reduce development and production cost while
improving time-to-market.
"We are excited to partner with Green Hills Software and
make our products available on its popular INTEGRITY RTOS,"
said Mukesh Lulla, president, TeamF1. "This partnership
enables our mutual customers to develop smart and secure
embedded devices, using our drop-in authentication and
network security software modules, on a reliable and secure
operating system."
"As electronic and mobile products continue their inexorable
transformation from standalone devices to powerful connected
constituents of home, enterprise, and global networks,
developers require systems software that can guarantee
secure information flows," commented David Kleidermacher,
chief technology officer, Green Hills Software. "TeamF1's
authentication protocols enable users of INTEGRITY-based
devices to gain secure access to networked services."
About AuthAgent
TeamF1's AuthAgent family of products is a set of
lean-footprint, modular authentication protocol
implementations that can be used either standalone or easily
glue in to various network and system security protocols.
The family includes:
AuthAgent Kerberos: an embedded implementation of the
Kerberos V authentication protocol that is interoperable
with Unix® Kerberos Key Distribution Centers (KDCs) and
Microsoft® Active Directory Services.
AuthAgent RADIUS: an embedded implementation of the Remote
Authentication Dial-In User Service that interoperates with
standard RADIUS servers. RADIUS, originally intended for
dial-in use, is now the de-facto standard for remote
authentication in both new and legacy applications.
AuthAgent TACACS+: an embedded implementation of the Cisco TACACS+ protocol as specified in TACACS+ RFC draft
(draft-grant-tacacs). It implements the client side of a
mechanism to carry authentication and authorization
information between a network service granting privileges
and a shared server that has the centralized user and node
information required to decide whether such privileges
should be granted.
About INTEGRITY
INTEGRITY is a secure, royalty-free real-time operating
system intended for use in embedded systems that require
maximum reliability. Without the burden of compatibility
with 1980s vintage products, INTEGRITY was designed from the
ground up for unprecedented levels of reliability,
availability, and security for a broad range of
applications, including mobile devices, avionics, industrial
control, automotive electronics, networking gear, and
medical devices. The INTEGRITY RTOS' strict adherence to
provable resource requirements allows an embedded system
designer to guarantee resource availability. Unlike other
memory protected operating systems, INTEGRITY does not
sacrifice real-time performance for security and protection.
It is first and foremost a true hard real-time operating
system. INTEGRITY represents the most advanced RTOS
technology on the market today.
